Success does not come easy and there’s usually pain involved along the way. Regardless of your goals, you can expect to face various challenges as you pursue them. We all struggle through hard times and dealing with misfortune is inevitable.

Trying to run, avoid or hide pain is pointless and the best thing you can do to create a meaningful and fulfilled life is to set yourself up with numerous resources that help you stay motivated even in challenging times. Here are a few ways to help you achieve that.

Avoid Complaining

At any given moment, you can either have a positive or a negative attitude. There is no grey area between the two. If you avoid complaining, you are simply refusing to have a negative attitude. Just remain optimistic and positive. Whenever you find yourself about to complain, just stop and think of something that you would be grateful for instead.

Put Your Goals on The Wall

Write your goals and display them somewhere you will see them on a daily basis. Review them every day and glance at them as often as possible. You can even use pictures if you are more of a visual person. Keep in mind that if your goals are not challenging or exciting enough, then maybe they are not big enough and it may be time to create new ones.

Listen To Inspiring Audio Clips

There are numerous opportunities throughout the day to listen to something inspiring. You can listen while cleaning, cooking, working out, driving or even while jogging around the neighborhood. So, download some of your favorite books or a few podcasts on your favorite topics and listen to them at for at least 30 minutes a day. Such clips will get you motivated and you will soon notice a tremendous change in your life and productivity.

How Beating Cancer Gave Me the Strength to Become an Entrepreneur

A cancer diagnosis is one of the most devastating news that I had to receive. It is very easy to get discouraged and get depressed after receiving news like this. But this is not a death sentence and numerous people like myself beat the odds, to overcome Cancer, and not give up on their dreams.

The thing with Cancer is that it brings your life into perspective, and you can see the things that matter to you and those that do not. This is how I recognized those passions and dreams that I had ignored before, ultimately to become an entrepreneur and start Entreprenury By Nature

Take Action.

One thing that I have learned from surviving cancer is that I had to make a conscious decision to start. Most people, when they get diagnosed and when the condition worsens, they are unable to go to work. This then leads them to a financial rut, with no money for utilities, to pay off their mortgages and loans. It is at this moment that they decide to take action. The thing with Cancer is that it makes you stronger, and you are pushed harder to make your dreams work. The motivation is inevitable, and with passion, you will be able to get rid of the fears at the back of your mind.

Take Risks.

Surviving cancer is one of the greatest achievements that I will ever make in your life. The good thing is that it gave me hope and courage to do other things. I have overcome the fear of dying from the diagnosis, so what else can scare Me?

To be a successful entrepreneur, you need to take risks. Believe in yourself and what you are offering. Cancer is transformational; it will help you deal with your day to day issues and come out stronger in the end.

Seek Advice.

Another essential thing that I had to do was to seek advice from experts and other people that had gone through what I was going through. I spoke with other cancer survivors to see the things that they did to beat cancer.

To become a great entrepreneur you will also need to seek advice from experts and the entreprenurs that have already achieved what you are looking to achieve. Do not go in blindly, as your business may suffer. Find a mentor, you will be surprised they will be more than ready to offer you all the advice that you need.

Remember, you are not alone on this journey; other people are going through what you are undergoing. Don’t be afraid to reach out.

I did not allow my life to a stop due to a cancer diagnosis and neither should you allow any challenge you are facing to stop you from achieving your dreams. You can beat whatever it is you are going through and come out stronger than before!

2. Schedule – A set schedule is important too. Even though it will always change, a schedule should be made to give structure.

3. Multi-Task – Doing a couple of things at a time allows a person to get more done. Many people multitask and do not even know that they are doing it.

4. Exercise – It is as important to get exercise as it is to eat right. People need to make sure that they are doing both. Even if they take a little walk, it is best to get some type of exercise.

5. Rest – Plenty of rest is needed. Finding a good time for a person to sleep every night will allow them to get used to sleeping and waking at the same time.

When people know what to do, they can also avoid burnout. This way, they can spend the time on the things that matter so that they can get them done right.
