Top 5 Things Entrepreneurs Can Learn From Charlamagne Tha God.

Charlamagne Tha God is a New York Times best selling author and he co-hosts the The Breakfast Club on IHeartRadio. He is also known for being a social media influencer, co-host of Brilliant Idiots and he is also an executive producer in his very own production company CThaGod World. As a result, he knows a lot about entrepreneurship and has learned many lessons over his lifetime. In this article, we will look at five things that entrepreneurs can learn from him.

Face Your Past

If you don’t know Charlamagne Tha God’s past, then you should know that he was in prison a couple times when he was younger. The first time he went to jail was when he witnessed a shooting while he was in the back seat of a car. In other instances, he was sent to jail for possession of cocaine and marijuana and was also charged with the intent to sell. However, after his third offence, he decided to go clean and he went to night school where he eventually got an internship at a radio station. What you can learn from this is that no matter what your past may be, you can always turn it around. You don’t need to keep re-living your story, you can change. However, facing your past is an important part of that journey.

Change Your Mindset

No matter who you are or where you’re from, you need to change your mindset in order to be treated differently. Charlamagne Tha God has been very vocal about black history and how it has been taught wrongly in schools. In his opinion, schools only focus on black history starting from slavery which isn’t actually true. Black history started in Africa, before slavery where they were royals. As a result, he has changed his own mindset so that he acts like a King and as a result, is treated as one.

Don’t Be Afraid To Make Mistakes

Many entrepreneurs are constantly afraid of making mistakes and failing. However, that will only hold you back. Charlamagne Tha God in many instances has gotten in trouble for his particular interviewing style and has even been fired. He advocates learning from your mistakes and becoming a better person as a result.

Ask Questions

Charlamagne Tha God has been called the Architect of Aggravation and even the Prince of Pissing People Off. He is always full of questions and he doesn’t hold back. Some of those questions may be aggravating or annoying but that doesn’t stop him. This is definitely a lesson every entrepreneur should learn if you don’t ask questions, especially the hard ones, your business won’t move forward.

Know What You Want

Lastly, Charlamagne Tha God’s personal advice has always been to be sure of the path you want to pursue. Don’t pursue a particular path because other people are doing it. Be 100% sure of what you want to do so that you’re completely happy doing it.

In closing, we have just looked at 5 things entrepreneurs can learn from Charlamagne Tha God. So, be sure to absorb all of the above lessons and implement them to improve your business and your life.

Entrepreneur By Nature

When someone mentions the name Beyonce, the first idea to click on your mind is music. She is a successful musician, and unlike what you may know, she is also a self-made entrepreneur. One outstanding feature about her is that her success is not just a result of her popularity in the music industry. She has an excellent approach to business and has, over time, been able to build an empire for herself. For many people in business, below are some of the entrepreneurial tips from Beyonce, you can learn.

Be Authentic.

Because you want to start up something good for yourself in business, ensure it is unique and outstanding. Create a brand that will make people feel your presence just by mentioning the brand name. Put your stamp on it and do not allow people to benefit under your glory without approval.

Be a Team Player.

Since you cannot do everything alone, create a team of people who share the same vision as you. Build and encourage them to help you execute all your plans. Be hardworking and go through all phases of business with your team rather than just delegating.

Create Interpersonal Relationships With Customers.

Most customers will come to you expecting to have a personal touch of your brand. However, if you rely on outsourcing agencies to communicate on your behalf, your customers will eventually leave. Create a platform to interact with clients on a personal note.

Prepare To Make Painful Decisions.

As an entrepreneur, be ready to make decisions that will affect you personally but mainly focus on the bigger picture. Beyonce fired her dad because she saw it as the best thing for her career. It was a difficult decision but the right thing to do.

In the initial stages of her musical career, she was in a group. She decided to spread her wings, and at the moment, she is soaring high. The above mentioned entrepreneurial tips from Beyonce will help you build a brand for yourself if only you set goals to guide you.

Take Action.

One thing that I have learned from surviving cancer is that I had to make a conscious decision to start. Most people, when they get diagnosed and when the condition worsens, they are unable to go to work. This then leads them to a financial rut, with no money for utilities, to pay off their mortgages and loans. It is at this moment that they decide to take action. The thing with Cancer is that it makes you stronger, and you are pushed harder to make your dreams work. The motivation is inevitable, and with passion, you will be able to get rid of the fears at the back of your mind.

Take Risks.

Surviving cancer is one of the greatest achievements that I will ever make in your life. The good thing is that it gave me hope and courage to do other things. I have overcome the fear of dying from the diagnosis, so what else can scare Me?

To be a successful entrepreneur, you need to take risks. Believe in yourself and what you are offering. Cancer is transformational; it will help you deal with your day to day issues and come out stronger in the end.

Seek Advice.

Another essential thing that I had to do was to seek advice from experts and other people that had gone through what I was going through. I spoke with other cancer survivors to see the things that they did to beat cancer.

To become a great entrepreneur you will also need to seek advice from experts and the entreprenurs that have already achieved what you are looking to achieve. Do not go in blindly, as your business may suffer. Find a mentor, you will be surprised they will be more than ready to offer you all the advice that you need.

Remember, you are not alone on this journey; other people are going through what you are undergoing. Don’t be afraid to reach out.

I did not allow my life to a stop due to a cancer diagnosis and neither should you allow any challenge you are facing to stop you from achieving your dreams. You can beat whatever it is you are going through and come out stronger than before!
